Toothless

April 18, 2010

Growing is supposed to happen over time. Your child is born this tiny helpless creature and slowly he learns to crawl, then walk and talk and so on… only my kids seem to be getting bigger way to fast. Take this little boy, I’m pretty sure he was just born, and yet here stands this toothless six year-old before me.

Flowers and Curls

March 18, 2010

Here in California there tends to be a shortage of lush green fields, but the recent rains have left everything so vibrant and alive. When I drove past this field I made a mental note to bring my daughter back for a little mini-shoot and I am so thankful that I did.

2 Days in Santa Barbara

January 1, 2010

My parents recently moved up to Santa Barbara, Aaron and I were lucky enough to spend a few days with them this week. I truly believe that there is no place more perfect than Santa Barbara, the weather, the ocean, the scenery… it’s simply perfect. On the drive up I soaked in all of the greenery and the farmlands. I rolled my window down when we hit the coast so I could smell and feel the salty sweet air. We spent much of our time in Santa Barbara breathing in that air while we searched for sea glass and other beach treasures. Our older boys stayed home with Aaron’s parents this trip, so we are looking forward to taking them back for a visit sometime soon. As usual I took tons of pictures to share with you all, enjoy!

Summer in December

December 12, 2009

As I was clearing out some old files on my computer, I came across these shots of my lovely little girl that I took one warm summer day. So even though today is gray and cold, I can still have summer here on my blog.

Tristan loo hoo

December 11, 2009

This is my niece, she is one busy little bee. I picked her up one evening for her Christmas photo shoot and we hiked all over this field hunting for golf balls, singing and having fun.
